Leonard Fournette Expected to Return This Week

LSU Coach Les Miles expects star running back Leonard Fournette to play this week against fellow SEC team Mississippi State. Fournette sat out last week's game against Jacksonville State due to an ankle injury suffered during Week 1's loss against the Wisconsin Badgers. The Tigers, however, win last week's game without Fournette, beating Jacksonville State easily, 34-13. Coach Miles says that he is confident Fournette will do well in his return and hopes the Tigers will continue to get back on track after Week 1's loss. Fournette is a favorite to win the Heisman Trophy this year after last year's performance of 1953 rushing yards with 22 touchdowns.
