AP Top 25 Week #4

The Associated Press released the Top 25 for Week 4 of the college football season. Here is this week's Top 25 and my opinion's on it because it's my blog and I can do/say whatever I want :)

AP Top 25 Week 4:

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Louisville
4. Michigan
5. Clemson
6. Houston
7. Stanford
8. Michigan State
9. Washington
10. Texas A&M
11. Wisconsin
12. Georgia
13. Florida State
14. Tennessee
15. Miami (FL)
16. Baylor
17. Arkansas
18. LSU
19. Florida
20, Nebraska
21. Texas
22. San Diego State
23. Ole Miss
24. Utah
25. Oklahoma

Let's being, shall we? Alabama played a tough game against Ole Miss but they pulled out a win and are still #1. That's fine by me, I don't really like/care for Alabama but Nick Saban is a good coach and I'm used to them being up there in the rankings, Ohio State at #2, don't really like them either but J.T. Barrett is doing a good job of leading them to victory and Urban Meyer is still a good coach so they are fine there. They could win the Big Ten conference but those teams are full of surprises (except you Northwestern, I don't even know what's up with you guys) so who knows what will happen. Louisville at #3, I love it and I'm not going to talk about Louisville and Lamar Jackson are really good and how this year is their year and all that because I've talked about them too many times now, Michigan at #4, still very overrated. Believe me, I like Michigan sports but I don't understand why they are #4 besides their prestigious coach. Beat Ohio State then we'll go from there. Clemson at #5, understandable I guess. They aren't as good as they were last year but I don't really see another team worthy of being #5 at the moment so this is fine. I'm now going to jump to #9 Washington and complain, Somebody please tell me how Washington is a top 10 team after going 7-6 and only beat Southern Mississippi in the Heart of Dallas Bowl by 13 last year! I've heard nothing important about them like recruits or coaching-wise they just appeared in the Top 25 for no reason! I don't understand what people see in them. It's not that I don't like Washington, they're probably one of my favorite Pac-12 teams, I just don't see any good reason why they are #9 or even in the Top 2 for that matter. Yes at the moment they are 3-0, but they played Rutgers, Idaho, and FCS Portland State. They were handed a Top 25 spot and 3 wins for no reason and I don't like it. They will fall, just watch. Florida State fell 11 spots to #13 after losing by 43 points to Louisville. Apparently the Associated Press thought that was just fluke game I guess, or that it wasn't as bad as it was, but I do not believe Florida State deserves to be in the top 15 teams after that atrocious game against Louisville. Maybe like #18 or something like that. San Diego State is a new face in the Top 25 coming in at #22. They have always had decent programs like football and basketball and are always fighting for the top spot in the Mountain West Conference so it doesn't surprise me that they have worked their way into the Top 25. With the way their conference is looking right now, I expect them to work their way maybe into the top 15 but they won't reach top 10 with wins against Mountain West opponents. Their down fall could be against Utah State and/or Nevada but we'll see I guess. College football is always full of surprises! Those are my opinions on this week's Top 25. I would like to issue a small apology to Northwestern however, your season isn't over, yet, you're only 1-2 but you lost to an FCS team and play 4 ranked teams in the next few games. But other than that I'm done here so see ya next time!
